CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY
We understand that every space is different and that a single cancellation policy does not fit all Booking circumstances. That’s why we provide a spectrum of options so that Users/ Guests and Hosts can choose the policy that works best for their space and business.
GUESTS INITIATED CANCELLATIONS:
Applicable to bookings for parties, receptions, weddings, corporate gatherings, and other large scale events.
If a Guest cancels a confirmed booking at least four (4) calendar months prior to the scheduled booking start time, they shall be entitled to a 100% refund of the booking amount, excluding any non-refundable service charges (if applicable). Refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 7–10 business days.
2 .Partial Refund
If a Guest cancels a confirmed booking at least thirty (30) calendar days prior to the scheduled event start time but less than four months in advance, they shall be entitled to a 50% refund of the booking amount.
Any refundable components such as security deposits and cleaning fees will be returned in full, provided the space was not accessed or used.
3. No Refund – Cancellation
If a Guest cancels a booking less than thirty (30) calendar days before the scheduled event start time, the booking shall be deemed non-refundable. This includes the base booking fee and any associated charges, excluding refundable deposits.
Security deposits and cleaning fees will still be refunded in full if the venue remains unused and no damage or cleaning is required.
Applicable to bookings for editorial shoots, commercial productions, personal photography sessions, podcast recordings, and similar studio based activities.
1. Full Refund
Guests who cancel a confirmed booking seven (7) calendar days or more before the scheduled booking start time shall be eligible for a 100% refund of the booking amount. This refund includes all base charges, excluding any non-refundable service fees (if applicable).
2. Partial Refund
Guests who cancel a confirmed booking at least five (5) calendar days before the scheduled booking start time, but less than seven days in advance, shall be eligible for a 50% refund of the booking amount.
This partial refund reflects the operational costs and opportunity loss incurred by the Host due to short notice cancellations. Thus, Any refundable components such as security deposits or equipment rental fees will be returned in full, provided the studio was not accessed or used.
3. No Refund
Guests who cancel a booking less than five (5) calendar days before the scheduled booking start time shall not be eligible for any refund. This includes the base booking fee and any associated charges, excluding refundable deposits.
Security deposits and cleaning fees, if applicable, will be refunded in full only if the studio remains unused and no damage or cleaning is required.
Applicable to bookings for rehearsals, dance classes, movement workshops, corporate meetings, brainstorming sessions, and similar activities.
1. Full Refund
Guests who cancel a confirmed booking ten (10) calendar days or more before the scheduled start time are entitled to a 100% refund of the booking fee.This includes all base charges, excluding any non-refundable platform service fees (if applicable).
2. Partial Refund
Guests who cancel a confirmed booking between ten (10) and seven (7) calendar days before the scheduled start time are eligible for a 50% refund of the booking fee.
This partial refund accounts for the short notice and the limited opportunity for rebooking the space. Any refundable components such as security deposits or equipment rental fees will be returned in full, provided the studio or pod was not accessed or used.
3. No Refund
Guests who cancel a booking less than seven (7) days before the scheduled start time will not be eligible for any refund. This includes the base booking fee and any associated charges, excluding refundable deposits.
Security deposits, if applicable, will be refunded in full only if the space remains unused and no damage or cleaning is required.
HOST OR VENDOR INITIATED CANCELLATIONS
“Vendor” (also referred to as “Host”) means any individual, company, partnership, or legal entity who registers on the Spottle Marketplace to list, offer, and make available one or more Venues for booking by Guest/users, in exchange for a fee. A Vendor may also provide additional ancillary services related to the Venue, including but not limited to equipment rental, staffing, cleaning, or catering, collectively referred to as Vendor Services.
Whereas, a “Guest” means any individual, company, partnership, or other legal entity who accesses the Spottle Marketplace for the purpose of browsing, booking, or using one or more Venues or Vendor Services listed by a Vendor. By initiating a booking, the Guest agrees to pay the Total Price, which includes the Venue price, Spottle’s service fee, applicable offline fees, taxes, payment gateway charges, and any other amounts disclosed during checkout. In the event that a Host or Vendor initiates the cancellation of a confirmed booking, the following terms shall apply:
Spottle reserves the right to impose monetary fines on Hosts or Vendors who cancel confirmed bookings, except in cases where cancellation is due to verified force majeure or other exceptions explicitly recognized by Spottle. Spottle may, at its sole discretion:
Repeated or unjustified cancellations may result in temporary suspension or permanent removal of the Host’s or Vendor’s listing from the Spottle platform, without prior notice.
These cancellation provisions shall be read in conjunction with, and form an integral part of the Spottle Terms of Service and the Spottle Terms and Conditions applicable to all platform users and service providers. In the event of any conflict between this clause and the aforementioned documents, the interpretation most protective of Guest rights and platform integrity shall prevail.
Spottle Initiated Cancellations
Spottle may decide, in its sole discretion, that it is necessary or appropriate to cancel a confirmed Booking. Spottle may cancel a Booking at any time prior to the Event start time. When Spottle initiates a cancellation, any refunds or payouts will vary depending on the circumstances that prompted the cancellation. Neither Spottle nor any of the other parties to the cancelled Booking shall have any liability or obligation for any such Spottle initiated cancellations. The following are circumstances in which Spottle may initiate a cancellation:
When it has been determined that a booking cannot proceed due to material misrepresentation, the Guest is not eligible for any refund for the cancelled booking and the cancellation policy at the time of the booking is null and void. Any subsequent booking attempts by the Guest or related or associated parties will also be cancelled without refund eligibility.
